It's interesting how you have two concepts for the same model design - versatility like that is true in any military.
To be anti-air, those would have to be some hella-fast tracking turrets. The turret design is sound - it looks like it has full ability to swivel about. Maybe include some jamming for radar or communication frequencies that the hostiles use? (In other words, more eye candy).
The six "circle" style devices on the back confuse me. Perhaps if you did a write-up on some of the specifics of this model?
One other thing, and this is more a personal belief - is that if this is indeed going to be an AAA type machine, you should have it with more than one main turret. Chances are the enemy is going to come with a mess of fighters/bombers/support craft, and if only 1 target can take fire at a time, you're going to need a lot of these tanks to get the job done. I understand that there would be many unit types engaged in the field, but it would also mean it would not be as cost effective.
Oh, also, by the way, I feel I should let you know about this... When I was about to do the engines for the ship, I remembered something you told me a while ago, to make the engines capable of showing directional thrust either through "fins" or through mobile thrusters... I went for the second choice...
I'm sure you've seen that new F-22 I think it is, the "multi-role fighter of tomorrow", its thruster can rotate allowing the aircraft to move in unprecedented ways, yeah, that is what these do
I would like to see a animated video of this craft showing what it can do, as far as movement. Should be interesting to see how it deals with moving over flat terrain or obsticles.
I've seen the F-22 (not in real life, but still, slick looking plane). I still have a poster of the F-15 from around its time of being shown off as a new aircraft- it's got one of those huge "multi-role" lists on there. Fun times.
Lol, I also DO have a video of the craft just hovering... The purpose of the video was to test the turret's half-sphere firing coverage... It came out pretty cool, how about that for shows?
No worries. Ok, these new options are kind of funny. I accidentally clicked "mark as read" and thought it would only put a check in the box, not actually eliminate it from my message centre! Whoops. Now I had to find this message again, manually.
I should probably get some outlines of the MiG onto the PC, but I need you to resend that email. I have the 'real' outline, but I don't want to work off of that. I suppose I could. Mmm. I still need your reference scan, though. I'm not trying to hurry you - I also have real life deadlines as well.
As soon as I get to be in my house for more than two hours!!! Lol, I've been gone from home for some odd reason and no one seems to mind, and that's really cool!
I've been chilling at my gf's most of the day, then go to church at night and get home around 10 or so to take a shower and then to bed... It's weird, but HEY! No one minds so might as well you know?
Please, give me a bit of time and I will send you the scans and the vids.
Hehe, yeah I figured hat out when I was watching the Military Channel the other day, the Army has a couple of vehicles that practically do the same job, just through different means...
Lol, indeed, that would be nice eye candy too, but I personally think that it would make the turret seem too bulky as, like you said, it has to swivel very rapidly, as it does.
The thingies on the back? Basically, they are just eye-candy... Technically... Hmmm... They can be anything... Shield emitters?
I am not saying you're wrong about the many turrets per tank, your belief has a sound base, which I agree with, but nor perhaps for this particular model, as that would mean a bigger tank, and my main purpose for the tank was mobility and firepower. And well, would it help if I told you that each arm of the turret can swing independently if needed to?
And well, overall, again, awesome comment ... Thanks, I am so happy to have your support!

Overall, again good model.
