Unnocuppied Space – Chennobie Pass
Outside the boundaries of the Sebbian Empire – 1400 STD Hours

The Chennobie pass is a much avoided and very perilous transit route. Expanding two solar systems, this route is plagued by all sorts of space-scum looking to make a quick buck out of any intrepid vessel that dares to travel through this pass. Thus, any sane captain will avoid these star systems at all costs; however, the Chennobie pass happens to be the only safe way to Wormhole DA-52, a stable space anomaly that allows ships to engage on a two-way instantaneous trans-dimensional sub-space jump with exits on three nearby galaxies at a minimal risk.

Ever since it was launched from Earth, The Quazi-Nova, being the science and research vessel that it is, has spent months traveling to this wormhole in order to travel through it and conduct studies along the way, however, as it approached the Chennobie pass, a fighter patrol of Sebbian ships warned her of the menace ahead. Needing to refuel and re-supply, the Quazi-Nova requested permission to dock at the nearby battle station Cerberus, the Sebbians granted the Terran ship permission to do so. During its stay at Cerberus, the captain of the Quazi-Nova informed Admiral Hammerfist of its mission protocols and pleaded a request for escort through the Chennobie pass, again, the Sebbian Empire granted the Terrans their request, assigning a squadron of quick, yet deadly, Raptors to accompany the Quazi-Nova through this dangerous pass…
