It is finally done, sorry it took a while, but I hope that it was worth the long wait!

Also, I have decided to now include short stories with my scenes in hopes that I could weave a small universe out my art, I hope you guys enjoy them!

So, without further ado:

PLANET “GATI III” - 0130 STD HOURS.

This once beautiful planet of grass plains and peaceful people was decimated to ashes by a merciless and desperate attack of the enemy in one more of their everlasting attempts to break into the boundaries of our Empire. However, this time, their attack was different as they attacked a system that was deemed a no-fire zone, as its inhabitants do not condone the use of armed combat and have opted for pursuing commerce, art, and the beautification of their system as a thriving part of the Empire. They were defenseless and hopeless against the brute of the enemy’s invasion.

Outraged at this act of cold-blooded carnage and murder, Fleet Command dispatched the dreaded 33rd Elite Legion, renown for its flawless planetary assaults and use of heavy weaponry, with clear orders:

“Rid the Gati system of all enemy presence, using all means necessary.”

It was odd how the 33rd Legion emerged from hyperspace undetected. Afterwards it became evident that this had been a desperate and frantic attack by the enemy, as they had not bothered to deploy even an early-warning satellite, there was nothing in space, all of the enemy’s assets were on the three planets of this beautiful system. Their carelessness was impressive, as the 33rd Fleet’s flagship, a gigantic Carrier, emerged unnoticed.
Calmly, The fleet re-grouped and then preceded to launch swarms of landing craft, full of men, machinery, equipment, all of the ingredients necessary for a bloody and perfect payback on the enemy’s rear flanks rearming and refueling at GATI III. The counterattack will be as cold-blooded as the enemy itself.
As soon as the whole Legion had landed and deployed, it proceeded to split into many battalions and moved on towards enemy positions.
Near the destroyed city of Anburg, battalion Gamma was the first to reach enemy presence, a massed formation of troops and vehicles stationed at the far side of the smoldering city. Several Cheetahs were dispatched to pinpoint the exact locations of the enemy so that the several support squadrons of Firebreathers on the rear flanks could begin their apocalyptic barrages.

In no time, thunderous blasts shock the ground and soon thereafter the nebulae-adorned night sky was filled with the long and white energy arches of the flying shells… The artillery had begun its assault.
