Like I said... I was gonna do a little battle scene with my Fighter models... And here are the results.
What it is is what it looks like, all of them dogfighting with the enemy. I also know that some of the effects look wack, but I just did it to, once again, take the final break before going back into full modelnig.
As always, please tell me what you guys think.
PROGRAMS: 3DSM
TIME: About 3 hours

I know this is old, but I wanted to comment anyway. This is much better than anything I have tried to do. Cool effects; especially the lasers.
Remember, this is out in space and things do not burn unless there is oxygen. You would probably get a very hot, white, flash fire, as either the electrical system or the shot ignited the fuel cell, burning all the oxygen almost instantaneously. Or in the case of a non-flammable fuel cell, the electrical system would short, causing almost the same scenario, only with a more blue tinge to the explosion.
Also, dark smoke as you have in the large explosion on the left and the small one in the middle is caused by burning petroleum products (gasoline, diesel, axel grease, tar, ect.) for more than a second or two.
